This Bollywood movie is vey modernized. Throughout the video we can see somewhat modern dances moves.  The song is sung in english.  The Choreography is styleiszed and modern.  This movie trailer of the Dhoom 2, shows a change in the old bollywood movies.  Old Bollywood movies are tradradional, having old indian music and instruments, traditional dance and are written and acted in hindi/urdu.

This scene from Muqqadar Ka Sikandar, Bollywood movie of 1978 includes classical music, and it shows an actor riding his motorcycle, which has always been popular in India and Pakistan, across the Indian streets. The lyrics are all in Hindi/Urdu rather than English.

This is a video of a song from an old Indian movie called Muqqadar Ka Sikandar that is from 1978. It doesn't show any major signs of Westernization, it is more purely Indian rather than Western-influenced. The actor is riding his motorcycle, which are very popular in south asia, across the Indian streets. The music is traditional, using Indian instruments and not western at all, and also the language  is all Hindi, unlike modern movies which have a lot of English lyrics to them. Bollywood films are all usually musicals, and that tradition has been kept in both old and new Bollywood. If you compare the song from Muqqadar Ka Sikandar to the song from Dhoom 2, you will see a drastic difference in many aspects. The music of Dhoom 2 uses some traditional Indian rythms, but they are are made more Western, whereas Muqqadar ka Sikandar has purely Indian music. The language of Dhoom 2 has a significant amount of English, the whole title song is in English, while old movies like Muqqadar ka Sikandar are all in Hindi/Urdu, and the dances and clothing in Muqqadar Ka Sikandar are more traditional Indian clothes. There are no traditional Indian clothes worn in Dhoom 2, instead, all Western outfits are being worn. Also, the dances choreographed in Dhoom 2 are attempted to be in a Western fashion, the moves from all the dances in this movie show no resemblance to any traditional Indian dances, but movies that are older such as Muqqadar Ka Sikandar tend to use traditional dance stylings. The video below of the movie "Kal Ho Naa Ho" shows blending of traditional Punjabi Indian music blended with a Western touch, although the scene shows a traditional South Asian way of life in a wedding, that is festive and filled with music and dance, and traditional clothes are worn. That shows that India has still kept its traditions despite having a more western approach at some movies.

This  Bollywood video is a song from the movie Kal Ho Na No from the year 2003. It is a good example of the blending of Indian and Western elements. The music is traditional Punjabi style with a little Western touch, and the lyrics are Punjabi with some English also. In the video however, you see that Bollywood holds on to its traditional clothes, and values. This video is of a wedding in a Bollywood movie, and it shows the wedding as a festive, joyous occassion spent with friends and family with music and dance, and that is the tradition of weddings in South Asia.

Bollywood videos and movies have modernized in the terms of language, ideas, and cerography.  The language of Bollywood movies has been modernized, changed from Hindu or Urdu to English.  The reason for this is because the main language of India is English.  The ideas for Bollywood movies have also been modernized.  The old movies used to be about Indian tradition but in new movies, we see more westernized ideas, for examples rebellions.   The Cerography of Bollywood movies has also changed.  We see modern dances as opossed to traditional dances.  Also the language of the songs have changed.  The music used in bollywood videos can be refered to as indias version of hip hop.
